Splurge vs. Save Sandals & Review

Sandals are a staple in my closet - I wear them all spring and summer long! I don’t really think you can have too many pairs of sandals. I know I get a ton of wear from a lot of my sandals, so to me certain pairs are totally worth the splurge. So, I’m breaking down each of my designer pairs because you guys always ask about sizing, comfortability, and wear. However, if you don’t want to invest in a designer pair, then I’m sharing my favorite more affordable pairs that look similar and are much friendlier on your bank account!

Gucci Double G Slide Sandal

TTS! I got a 37.5 and I'm a 7.5 in US sizing. These were comfortable right away and didn't require any breaking in! I love that I can wear these with a dress and they can also elevate a basic white tank and denim outfit.

Save: If you don’t want to splurge, I think these Tory Burch ones look super similar and have the same designer feel.

Tamara Mellon Flatline Sandal

TTS! I got a 37.5 and I'm a 7.5 in US sizing. These are so comfortable and did not need to be broken in. Love the minimal design with the half clear straps. A "barely there" sandal that won't take away from your outfit at all!

Save: For the same “barely there” look, I recommend something like these gladiator sandals - love the clear strap and stud detailing! Plus, they’re super affordable at only $28.

Chloe Logo Slides

These only come in whole sizes so I went up to my next whole size (38). They felt a little stiff at first but after breaking in, I absolutely love them and wear them all the time. Definitely worth the time it took to break in. One of my most worn sandals!

Save: These BCGG slides were certainly designer inspired have almost an identical look and feel as the Chloe ones.

Gucci GG Bloom Floral Slides

My newest purchase that I'm so excited about! I went down to the next whole size in these (37). They run a tad big and do require some breaking in but I've been wearing them around the house and they're already becoming so comfy! These are more casual and sporty so I'll wear them with athleisure and causal denim/tee looks.

Save: I’m obsessed with my All Saints Karli Slides and wore them all last summer - they’re super comfortable and come in tons of colors. If you’re looking to save even more, check out these $20 jelly slides - such a steal!
