Halloween Costume Ideas

I don’t know about you, but I love dressing up for Halloween! I know finding the right costume can be a challenge, so I wanted to share some costume ideas that I’ve created in the past to give you some inspo. Halloween is just a week away so I’m hoping this helps for all of you last minute shoppers like myself!! I’d love to know if you’re planning on dressing up this year and what some of your favorite costumes have been!

Tinkerbell

I feel like you can’t ever go wrong with a Disney character for Halloween and who better than Tinkerbell? I wanted to find the perfect costume for Mylo and I last year and I knew this was it as soon as I saw the Hook costume! I literally could not stop laughing seeing him trot around as a pirate. This costume was bought as just that - a costume, but you could easily re-create it with a short green dress!

Britney Spears

Last year Cort and I were invited to a Halloween party so I was on the hunt for the perfect couple costume! I searched for longer than I’d like to admit, but as soon as I thought about the all-denim Britney and Justin, I knew it was it and everyone loved it! This would be easy throw together, as all you need is denim, more denim and jewelry!

Khaleesi

If you’re a GOT fan, then Khaleesi is such a fun costume idea! Honestly, I never watched the show but so many people tell me I look like her so I decided to run with it! Luckily, I already had the hair down, so it was pretty simple to create. I also did a smokey eye to really get in character. I watched this youtube video to learn how to contour my face like her lol. I was dedicated!

Elle Woods

Can you believe it’s the twentieth anniversary of Legally Blonde? Now, if that doesn’t make you feel old then I don’t know what will lol! Anyway, what a better way to commemorate this classic than by dressing up as Elle Woods? Bonus points if you have a little Bruiser ;)

Sandy from Grease

If you’re looking for a couples costume that your guy won’t totally hate, then Sandy and Danny are not only easy costumes to create, but fun as well. I bet you could convince your guy to wear a black tee and some black pants!
