The Tile & Flooring We Used In Our Home
I’ve gotten a TON of questions about the flooring and tile we have in our new home, so I’m sharing all the specifics with you guys. Whether you’re renovating or buying a new home, I hope this is helpful when you go to select your finishes. We really wanted everything in our home to be cohesive, so we spent a LOT of time going back and forth on everything… building a house is a process! Luckily, we’re in love with how everything turned out so I’m really glad we took our time to find the right colors and textures. Primary Bathroom
Wall Tile - Emser Tile Passion Blanco
Flooring - Emser Tile Sterling Grey
We really wanted our primary bathroom to feel like a spa retreat, so we decided to extend the shower tile on the entire wall for a pop. I love how it turned out, and think it looks so good paired with the tile flooring.
Kitchen
Backsplash & Wall - Riad Tile 2x6 Natural White Zellige
I fell in LOVE with this tile backsplash so much that I decided to extend it into the dining area and butler’s pantry. I’m so glad I did because I think it just adds that extra something to our kitchen - the stone has natural variation so I love how neutral it is while still adding character.
Powder Bathroom
Flooring - Emser Tile Ancient Tumbled Travertine
I love the rustic look of this tile - it complements the more modern finishes in the rest of the home. If you’re looking to do something a bit different, I recommend doing it in a smaller space. This flooring adds that bit of a pop without being overwhelming.
Flooring Throughout
Flooring - Shaw LVP Ravenswood Oak 9’x73” Planks
For the rest of the house, we decided to go with LVP. It looks just like wood but is much more durable and stain resistant - which is important if you’re a dog owner. Not to mention, it’s SO much more affordable than real wood. Plus, we didn’t want to have to worry about scratching it, so it was the best option for us. I love the color of the Ravenwood Oak - it’s light but not too light!
