My Updated Makeup Routine
Per your request, I recently shared my updated makeup routine on IG. So, in case you missed it or just prefer to find what you’re looking for here, I’m sharing everything I currently use in my beauty routine. I love trying new products and testing them out (I like to think of myself as a human guinea pig) so my routine is constantly evolving. Although, I always keep my tired and true faves in heavy rotation… so here’s what I’m loving lately!
FACE
MILK Hydro Grip Primer - This is a new primer that I’ve been using lately. It helps your foundation grip and stay put longer, but it’s not sticky!
IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream (shade fair light) - This is an oldie but a goodie. I always find myself coming back to this foundation. It’s full coverage and has SPF 50.
Tarte Creaseless Concealer (shade 22n) - With the foundation you don’t really need concealer, but it’s great for covering blemishes and brightens up the undereye area. Use my code KathleenPost for 15% off!
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder (shade fair) - I like to use this to set my foundation. It really gives you that airbrush finish.
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Matte Bronzer (shade medium) - I’ve really been on a Charlotte tilbury kick lately and I like this one a lot. However, this is my favorite drugstore bronzer which I’ve been using for years which is much more affordable.
Dibs Cream Blush Stick (shade you do you) - If you haven’t tried cream blush then you don’t know what you’re missing! It stays so much longer than powder blush and you have more control over where you apply it..
Sigma GlowKissed Highlight Palette - The last time I shared this palette it sold out, so I’m super excited that it got restocked. Both the blush and highlighters are stunning and give you that ‘lit from within’ glow! I also use this palette for my eyeshadow.
EYES
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer - I’ve been using this primer for years! It just helps your eyeshadow stay throughout the day and not crease.
Tarte Double Take Eyeliner (shade brown) - This eyeliner is my absolute favorite because it has two ends - a crayon and pen. So, you can smudge it out or create more of a cat eye. Use my code KathleenPost for 15% off!
IT Cosmetics Brow Pencil (shade universal taupe) - Lately, I’ve been using this brow pencil to help fill in my brows.
L'Oréal Double Extend Mascara - I swear by this drugstore mascara - I honestly can’t stop using it! I haven’t found one I like better, so it will continue to be a part of my makeup routine.
LIPS
Charlotte Tilbury Lip Liner (shade iconic nude) - This is the perfect everyday nude lip liner which helps give your lips definition.
Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick (shade runway royalty) - This is a really pretty color that isn’t too dark so you could wear it to any occasion.
NYX Butter Gloss (shade madeline) - If you’re looking for a great gloss but don’t want to spend a lot of money, this is my favorite one! It works with any lipstick color and is super pretty!
I know this might seem like a lot of products, and I don’t do this full makeup look everyday, but I love it for a girls night out or date night. You could easily skip a few steps for a more toned down look, but I hope this was helpful :)
