Universal Standard x adidas

Today I wanted to share some new adidas workout gear and a few tips for staying motivated during social distancing!

Universal Standard is a collection at adidas that carries extended sizing from XXS to XXXXL! I love the sleek, minimal styles of these pieces and there's truly something for everyone in this collection. These leggings are super comfortable and I love the infamous (yet subtle) 3-stripes on the side. They also have side pockets and a high rise waist that hugs you in without squeezing! These leggings are perfect for crop tops and they're definitely squat proof!

I know a lot of us are currently working from home and practicing social distancing, so I wanted to share some tips for staying motivated and inspired during this time!

1. Take breaks- depending on your job, you may have a little more flexibility in your schedule now to take a few breaks throughout the day while working from home. Throw on your favorite workout gear and do some burpees, jumping jacks, stretches, laps up and down the stairs, ANYTHING to get your heart rate up and keep your energy high. Maybe you couldn't do these things in an office, but now that you're at home, you have more opportunities to keep moving throughout your day!

2. Get sunshine- whenever we have a sunny day here, I try to go outside even if it's just for a little bit. A quick walk or jog around the neighborhood can be such a mood booster. If you're inside working all day, some fresh air can make a big difference while still practicing social distancing. If you have a nice day, take advantage of it and move your workout outside! Even if you're just in your driveway or on your balcony, the change of scenery will feel amazing.

3. Online workouts- I know most of our favorite gyms are currently shut down, but there are so many great online programs that are available to us at this time! Facetime a friend and get your sweat on together! The accountability will help you stay motivated and it's a fun way to "be" with a friend while you're at home.

Thank you to adidas for sponsoring today's post!
